Reflecting on my project...
well I presented today and even though I made some good points, I don't think I touched my fellow students the way I would have liked to. I hope you guys take the liberty of watching the video on you tube posted earlier on my blog. This is an issue that i really do care about and its sad people don't see it the way i do. One student asked me if i really do think abortion should be illegal. And what if your 16 year old girl friend was to get pregnant. It just made me realize how naive a persons understanding is to how crucial ; the lack of moral decency is, and-how much it has spiraled out of control. But sadly this is something that happens every day. I feel this has alot if not, everything to do with what society. And how it has effected people in such a way to allow themselves to become influenced, to the point were it has handicapped our individuality and more importantly, lack of responsibility. It truly brakes my heart that people are so selfish and don't think twice before making a rash decision. Also I was really upset due to the fact that such question were asked about my project. There was obviously a lack of compassion in my way of presenting, due to being rushed. However on my community service project I got a lot of similar questions and rejection, by doctors,by officers and individual who didn't want to listen, it just makes me want to push more to raise awareness on abortion. It isn't about us, its about the children. and I think before we can target abortion we must truly turn to god and prey, that people will someday respect life, and not take sex for granted as well. It wasn't meant for our pleasure, it was simply meant to create a child and we should be ashamed that we have taking a beautiful act such as sex, and turned it into something so dirty, evil, and just appalling; that an unborn child who is the only hopes of a better world, suffers the consequences. I will not stop here, and will continue to help in any way of raising awareness of abortion . I know now this needs to be approached in a series of steps, such as self esteem, objectifying woman, and many other factors. I hope to make this a life long project of healing and awareness who knows maybe this is my purpose in life.

my community service project
Hello, I did my community service rather late but finally got it done i made anti abortion flyers to try to raise awareness. it included my email, my blog account and some other references to how they can further research it if interested...it was actually very stressful and sad most people shot me down and didn't want to listen and other gladly accept and allowed me to stress my point to them.if i can change the mind of one person and alter their perspectives even the slightest bit so they can see things as i do then i was successful

BOSTON — A day after criticizing Attorney General Martha Coakley for saying she would have voted against a health care reform bill because it contained an anti-abortion amendment, Rep. Michael Capuano said through an aide that he’ll oppose a final version of the bill unless the amendment is eliminated.
Coakley and Capuano are vying for the seat left vacant by the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mike Capuano is against certain kinds of abortion but does not stand against it completely, he is more for womans rights and wants to leave the decisions to the carrier. I think he approached this topic a little distant because he fails to mention anything about an actual child or fetus. I think he is looking for an easy way out with agreeing with what the majority of the people want its much easier to stand for abortion then against, because third party perspectives and because it's something thats been allowed for quite some time now.Stop Abortion!!!!
As of right now i have a few ideas for whats my project is going to look like. for my creative project i'll be showing you tube videos and making a college. I need to find out more peoples perspectives on abortion, what kind of abortions are being performed and see what develops at certain stages in pregnancy according to "science" so i can get the factual part out of the way and relate to the more faithful side.I need to attract all kinds of people especially the non believers and convince to have an open mind so i can truly try to touch them in an enlightening way. The 8th district representative of Massachusetts Mike Capuano is the person i am going to be getting in touch with.

Stop Abortion!!!!/Subliminal Messages
Hello it took along time for me to decide on a few things for be the change project. I was having trouble deciding on abortion, subliminal messages, and a controlled government issue as far as privacy policy. I did however choose to do a project against abortion...For the be the change project i will do a walk against abortion in Ma. Also iam going to talk to a priest at a church who happed to lead and setup the walk against abortion in 2008, i hope to work closely with him on it to get the message more publicity. We all know this have been attempted but its time for a change!!! together, despite what religion you are, i will introduce some graphic, and important information to change the way people think about it!I could have done the privacy issue which i know just about everyone would agree with me on this, but i think a life is more important.I'll try to get as many people as possible to stand for, and participate in this activity.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pHlO2rSgmfg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxQursro2rs please view these i promise it will touch you.
Also i do feel subliminal messages is just as important so i will be blogging about that separably through out the project. For those who do not know what subliminal messages are, they are usually advertisements portraying a message an willingly to the subconscious with out the persons knowledge that affect behavior and brain activity. I think this is horrible and part of a government mind control to have power over the people and i just want people to know how devastating it can be to a child perspective as they develop there need to be an end, but we are so saturated in everything that surround us it would be close to impossible to fully eliminate such. but the more people to actually care the more innocence we can save to better our union with out such filth. also you should think about Google ing Walt Disney subliminal messages.

Voting
I thought i registered to vote when i got my driving permit but apparently i did not. I tried to register online but you need to print the paper out and mail it and i have no ink in my printer=0, but i am actually pretty excited that I'am now old enough to vote. It is important and if your 18 and live in the U.S you should vote! You get to pick the leader of your country I think thats one of the most important thing you can contribute to our nation I'am just days away from being eligible
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REFLECTING VOTING
I think people should have the right to choose if they want to vote or not. I do however thinks it's our responsibility unless you truly do not care, who is running your country.I don't think people should complain how thing are being run unless they vote. I think everyone should be aloud to vote unless they have a mental illness, i think depending on age and what is being tought in school we should be able to vote younger, our kids are the next generation anyways...

The President
Well the president is the leader of our country in which you live. With being the president there are certain things you must do and difficult choices you may be faced with.He is the one every one looks up to, to make sure things are fair and ran a certain way. Like kids attending school, punishment for people doing bad things, and making sure people can work so we can all eat dinner at night with our families. Sometimes when people want to share their ideas with the president to make things even better, it's really up to the president to say if its ok or not.He keeps things going that people don't normally think about. He is our leader.

Defend Life
I believe that not only here in Massachusetts but all states and country's that abortion is a big problem.. and i don't agree with it. I think its immoral and not gods intention to let such become about, children are the future! Even special circumstances of getting pregnant; unwillingly i think adoption should be considered....Also privacy issues, concern me greatly. I'am aware that the government with "good reason can put a GPS on your car tap your phone lines ect... There was discussions on it for past sex offenders and other imprisoned people. This is good to a certain extent, but a scary thought. Really think about it if the government is able to do that with out the person knowing, its just a matter of time before they do it to all U.S. Citizens your const-inly under surveillance. I also heard that there will be GPS put into new licenses and identification. These are some thing i'd like to further study, its something on both issues i believe is worth fighting for, however i don't exactly know how to change such and go against such a wide verity of people and perspectives but i wanna try! I know I'm not the only one who feels this way about abortion and privacy.
Reaching For Equality
The cruelty that was has been put toward one another throughout time is a shameful thing to look back on. We all look back to the days of African American slavery and are ashamed of our ancestors to be so cruel. Two pieces that reflect upon a time of despair and a hope to emerge from the darkness are, "New Song" and "I Too, Sing America" by Langston Hughes. These reflections were written in 1938 and 1925. Around this time there was a collection of African-American writers and artist that used their art to share their soul. Langston Hughes was also a part of the Harlem renaissance which was a large movement in the times of the 1920-1930's. The point of these pieces due to the time in history, was to share the feelings and messages of the soul. Not understanding the pain and suffering was a large flaw with the white community, but through these collections of writings we are still to this day able to picture what these people have went through. Personally i believe these poems have accomplished their purpose through sharing the knowledge of the times with those who read it. Without sharing the stories and emotions these problems can be overlooked through selfishness, but through sharing of emotion these problems become better known. Everyday these problems of inequality come into affect because truthfully, are we all free? Freedom is what society makes it, And as society changes its views and expectations freedom changes. This aspect matters nowadays to show that there has been worse problems and the future, not only can we use this as a reflection of our past problems but we can use this as an example to solve and eliminate problems before they start. My purpose in reading these poems is the language and connection that i can connect with. As i scanned through each line i can almost picture and feel the emotion of the writer as i read. Factors i took into consideration when choosing these pieces was, which one will i connect the most with, through poetry i believe i can connect more to the soul. This choice and process has related to my personal discovery of learning through rereading the pieces and making a connection with the writer on a level of understanding.

Responding to absence of Ameicanism
-If it is you agree with the building of the mosque, i must say i completely disagree. The quote that has been stated by Michael Moore is not only an insult to this country's pride, but it is in full neglect of remembrance. That being that America is a country of pride, why is it people come to this country and try to sculpt it into what they want it to be? As an American, being born here my ancestors have died for this country. I think it is disgraceful to be spit on as a country through such action, we must remember where we started before we know where were going. I understand that it was an ignorant few that caused such disaster but i think it is asking a bit much after looking at our scars.

The womans movements
The image of society |
The way kids should be |
It seems to be that the view of society comes into play once we are born, through our parental guidance, and through what is expected as a female. It is almost like the stages of life have turned into a ritual. A particular document from the Womens Liberation Movement, "Barbarous Rituals: 84 ways to feminize humans" by Anonymous, shares these stages of life that have become ritual. The point of this document is to specify these detailed everyday acts that are overlooked. Being born as the sex that you are, and having to live up to society's expectations on how a female should act, and what a female should look like. I do not think society understands the pressure put upon young woman to maintain a certain image through there adolescence. A certain issue that was listed in the document that had really touched me was when it said,"---feeling basically comfortable in your own body, but gradually learning to hate it because you are: too short or tall, too fat or thin, thick-thighed or big-wristed, large-eared or stringy-haired, short-necked or long-armed, bowlegged, knock-kneed, or pigeon-toed--something that might make boys not like you." I remember being perfectly comfortable, in my own body, and feeling beautiful when i looked in the mirror, however that soon changed when i entered middle school. My biggest insecurity was my height. i knew i was short but it wasn't something that concerned me until i had to here it from third party perspective. I feel as though these small aspects of life are not considered throughout life. Why is it from the start we are given these puzzle pieces instead of seeking our own puzzle pieces? We are told that we are all unique yet we are striped of this ability due to woman constantly being objectified through television, magazines etc...,and its a pretty hard and immoral standard to live up to. As i read through this document it was a reflection of my own life through realizing that all these aspects are put upon females without truly knowing the affects.
However even though these are unfair circumstances, it is up to us as individuals to sculpt our own image and be happy with who we are. Everybody is truly unique as far as looks and how they choose to do things. In the end we are only a well set group of molecules. If you think about it out of the 6 billion people in the world there is only ONE you! , and thats pretty damn special.

We are one!!
Muslim Point of View
As we watch the news we see the rising conflict between the building of a mosque near the world trade center. On top of that we see a Florida pastor threatening to burn the Koran, which is the biblical book of the Muslim religion. Through all this we look at this conflict and automatically take the side of the American who chose to take action. What he thinks is righteous is only causing pain that most of us are unaware of. Is it truly righteous to take such action, through the same grudge that has been held since 9/11? When such a topic was brought up we as citizens of this country looked directly to our commander for answers. But the fathers of our country have already locked in such a law that can truly not be overpassed. So What can we do? All we can do is understand that we are all one regardless of religion. We must not be barbaric like our long lost ancestry. Truly if we looked upon this happening in both perspectives we could come to an agreement. For we are unaware of the hurt we cause another countries faith and pride.-Here a Muslim American shares his feelings as he is trapped between both worlds.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mohsin-mohiud-din/dear-america-dear-muslim-_b_694183.html
American Point of view
On the other hand now that we had taken their side into consideration, we can look at the perspective of those who have been affected through devastation caused by the actions of the Muslim people. It is the Muslim way of understanding God that makes them treacherous toward Americans. Through the destruction they have caused our country by bombing our world trade center, and purposely killing thousands what reason do we have to respect them. Where is the heart when it comes to murder of ones self and others?
It is said that these suicide bombers believe that these acts are righteous, toward their path into heaven. But how could such act be righteous when it is nothing but purely evil? You cannot prevent evil by doing evil, which god would want such. Such hatred they have against Americans but for what reason? If religion is truly a reason for this hatred, then they are a half a world away why not let it be.The deceit and dedications to such doings are preposterous. After letting them come to our country to better their lives, and to bluntly deceive all, how do they expect to ask for such as a mosque anywhere near ground zero.We owe them nothing! Rather yet they should be patient with us Americas and stop overstaying there welcome. We can pity or be pitied, but in the end there is only one truth. That truth being that righteous acts will always prevail in the end.

Remembering our allegiance
Being born as an American i was not aware of the secretive actions taken by the commander of this country.
My name is Ms. Tee, i am a truth seeking being who only accepts that which is fair to life. As i remember in grade school it was honorable to pledge allegiance to our flag. This was our pride toward our freedom, and our image as The United States. Although there have been numerous changes to our country's image, due to conflicting religious views and what is righteous. As citizens we must not forget our pasts when we are moving so quickly into the future. It is only through our acknowledgements and awareness that we have the strength to make a change.
