BOSTON — A day after criticizing Attorney General Martha Coakley for saying she would have voted against a health care reform bill because it contained an anti-abortion amendment, Rep. Michael Capuano said through an aide that he’ll oppose a final version of the bill unless the amendment is eliminated.
Coakley and Capuano are vying for the seat left vacant by the death of Sen. Edward Kennedy.

Mike Capuano is against certain kinds of abortion but does not stand against it completely, he is more for womans rights and wants to leave the decisions to the carrier. I think he approached this topic a little distant because he fails to mention anything about an actual child or fetus. I think he is looking for an easy way out with agreeing with what the majority of the people want its much easier to stand for abortion then against, because third party perspectives and because it's something thats been allowed for quite some time now.
